Cleora Catherine "Dink" Windsor, 86, passed away April 6, 2016. She suffered a stroke earlier this year and never recovered. She left this earth peacefully in the night at her home in Warrior, Alabama.

Dink grew up on a farm in Virginia as one of 10 children. As a child of the Depression she was never wasteful and appreciated every moment of her life. Her home was her sanctuary; and it was always surrounded with flower gardens, bird feeders, and the smell of something good to eat coming from her kitchen. She took pride in being the matriarch of her family always making sure everyone was comfortable and happy while in her company.

Dink left behind her husband of 68 years James Windsor, her two sons Steve and Hank Windsor, daughters-in-law Belinda and Kelly Windsor, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

If you would like to pay tribute, the family asks to donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Dink's favorite charitable organization
